Good job. I've wanted to send out this message but just haven't quite built up the courage. However, you are exactly right. How many meeting have we sat in and people say "I wish I knew this 3 years ago" or "people don't know about this do they"? Good job, I may do the same thing on my site. I, like you, am tired of seeing people lose everything they have when they don't have to.

Excellent article. True, attorneys hate annuities particularly when the person who sold it said it would protect their money from Medicaid. They love their investment person and have known them for years, and I'm the "new guy" that obviously don't know what I am talking about. It drives me crazy. Thanks for making the point in a very understandable way.

My name is Matt and I wanted to thank you for this blog. I spent 3.5 years working in an Alzheimer’s/Long Term Care facility in Utah and I know the difficulties and pains felt by both the elderly, the family, and in some cases the caregiver. I personally got to know some great people afflicted with Alzheimer’s and I also became close with some of their families. I’ve seen a lot of resources that help. One in particular seems to be a great benefit: http://www.thecaringspace.com
Please pass this link along to anyone you feel could benefit from it.

First of all, I am very upset with the politicians who have introduced payments into Medicare for senior citizens 65 and over. I believe this is a rip off for the elderly who are on fixed incomes from the Federal Government. They have us at their advantage. All of our working lives, we paid into Medicare when it was introduce into law, and now when we are depending on Medicare, our Social Security Monthly Pensions are taxed out of our small fixed income and the yearly premiums are going sky rocketing out of this wourld now which is $96 plus. Their should be some advocates introducing a bill to eliminate this yearly tax from every senior citizens Social Security Pensions. I am overly upset and believe this burdon on taxing senior citizens fixed Social Security Benefits is a disgrace from our government. Thank you.
