I’ve found Paul Stano very easy to work with. He is very easy to talk to. Paul is a total professional who’s provided a valuable service to our clients over the years, in areas such as pre-planning for a funeral where Medicaid issues come into play. End of life planning is never easy. It’s a multi-tiered process where you need several qualified individuals involved to work with the family. I’m glad to be able to call on Paul for his valued contributions here. My clients have been very satisfied with the way he gets results for them.

Paul Stano is a very nice and compassionate man. He’s was of tremendous help to us in doing some trust planning for my now late mother. Because of him we didn’t have to pay any of her medical bills because all was taken care of. Actually this is the second time I’ve called upon Mr. Stano’s services. The best thing about the Paul Stano seminar is that it makes you think about the situation you’re facing, and have questions. The seminar helps you to realize what you’re facing and that you need to take action. I went because of my mother. She and I have no idea how to navigate things in order to get Medicaid. I know some people who attempted to get Medicaid on their own and it was a mess. I don’t want to go through that, so my brother and I have already made an appointment to talk with Paul. He’s a much needed person in this area. Another thing I want to make sure is that I don’t leave my children in a situation where they don’t know what to do for me, in case I should ever need nursing home care. I want to make things as easy as possible for them and Paul can help me here as well

Paul Stano is very knowledgeable regarding Medicare/Medicaid law. His seminar was particularly informative for medium to high net worth individuals and I would endorse it for that group.

I did attend the seminar with the hopes of staying current on Medicare, Medicaid, VA issues as well as ways clients can protect assets especially for a surviving spouse. Being a social worker and having worked with an aging population some of the information was familiar to me but it was good to hear there are still strategies to protect some assets. It was helpful to hear about the Keystone Trust, Bloodline Trust and the OBRA93 compliant annuity, shifting money in the IRA as well as the ability to purchase funerals for other family members. My goal is not to be an expert on these options but to know enough that should I have a client that one of these options appear to be appropriate I can direct them to the expert in the field to help them. I also use the information to be informed enough to identify red flags for clients who may have someone selling them something that doesn’t sound appropriate and recommend second opinions in those cases.

What I mainly got out of the Paul Stano seminar is that you can’t rely on a nursing home to guide you on how to get setup for Medicaid, or even on how to pay for the care a nursing home provides. The nursing home is just interested in getting paid, like all businesses are. They don’t care where the money comes from just as long as they receive it. Paul’s seminar was very in-depth. I learned so much. Unless you’ve gone through it, you really don’t know what to expect. That’s why it’s important that you attend this seminar, so you can learn what you need to know about estate planning, asset protection, and how to get Medicaid.”

The seminar was very worthwhile. There was a lot of information presented. I especially went to learn more about long-term care insurance, and also annuities. I’ve got a brother in a nursing home, and I know it’s quite expensive to be there. Being older, I don’t want to be in a position where I can’t afford it. I’m in good health now but you never know. Mr. Stano explains what your best steps are

I don’t know how Paul could’ve done any better in terms of how he presented the seminar. It was outstanding and very informative. My husband and I wanted to go to see what our options are. I’m also just about finished reading Paul’s book Don’t Go Broke in a Nursing Home, which we received for attending the seminar. It’s also very informative. We do plan on scheduling a time to come to his office and talk.

The seminar was very good. I know Mr. Stano because he previously worked on my mother’s estate. I’m getting to the point in life where I need to start thinking about these things as well, so I wanted to attend the seminar to begin the learning process. It was very informative.
